What is The Drawing Desk Publishing and how you got started?

The Drawing Desk is an Independent Publishing Company. I Like to call it "A Comic Book and Resource Publishing Company." For Reasons on what i do, I love to create Comics, which brings the "Comic" in a storyline and the "Resource" which can be the information. I love to write about information that can help benefit everyone like my fraud series e-books. It's kinda catchy don't you think? Anyway  I Make Digital and Print comics that are fun, humorous and positive to inspire both new and old comic fans. All my titles are Original. The Drawing Desk focuses on the Storyline and Characters. My time in the banking industry has made me knowledgeable on certain finances.   I have a blog "Ink Blots" to keep you growing your skill and sometimes I comment on the industry.  When you purchase a book or even read one of the blogs you're being treated with all respect.  Respect is a lost art in this industry these days. My Goal is to write epic stories, create awesome characters, entertain my audience with my imagination. Also, teach people about Financing, Scams and everything I know about Banking. How they think and how to get ahead. I will not preach or compromise morals and the most important, I will always Respect the Customer.

I started out wanting to get in the industry as a writer. I tried working with like minds but later found out that not everyone has the same goals going in. The industry at that time was hard but worth it. You knew you had to meet a certain criteria in order to play in the field and I was just not there at the time. My stories were unique but lacked something. Basically I did not want to wait to seize the moment. When I needed a artist I got someone, but again it never worked out because not everyone wants to meet the same goal. So when I couldn't find a artist, I became one. and when I couldn't find a publishing company to work with me I started my own.

Also in production is a new solo comic series that ties directly into the Superior Phalanx Universe called SigmaGirl!  SigmaGirl is a woman who embarks on a self-discovery on who she is and more importantly what is her purpose.  Let me tell you there aren't many comic series out there that represents the female hero properly. SigmaGirl is about finding your own strength within. Accepting what boundaries you have and using that as your strength. I first created SigmaGirl in the RPG  City of Heroes and trust me this is a female hero that we were meant to see. I will be doing Issue#1  Sigma Girl - Star Child along with Superior Phalanx's Issue #5  Please support independent creators.

Am currently writing a duo comic under a supernatural horror theme called Divine Covenant. Am very excited about it because am expanding my skill and writing style into something I have been curious  about but was afraid to dive into, The Supernatural. The story starts with The Cain Twins, Corvinus and Magdalene receive a Covenant with God that is a gift and a curse that neither of them asked for. Part of this is debt that must be filled though their generation, the other part helps balance the scales between good and evil. This story shows a darker part of Capital City that goes unnoticed to it's citizens where only a select few get to witness. Having faith is this story's biggest lesson. Look for it here coming soon!
